Microblogging in sports can be a useful way to get out information to the masses quickly and efficiently. For example, Sports Center can have a twitter account and add to the news stories that they talk about on the television. Or a sports team can post news about the things that are happening on their team; injuries, community events, trades, and anything else that happens. Microblogging can have its downside if someone is not careful with who they follow and what they read. Twitter has a way to help people make sure they are following the actual person or band or team, they add a blue check mark on the side of the name.
Hi Nicole,
So true about using twitter to update people on what is going on. Last season I used twitter for our team to get information out like practice times and meet schedules. It can be used in a very useful way. It can also be used in not so useful ways! Thanks for the good insight.

Microblogging can be extremely useful in the sports world. I think it can be used as a tool to get news out like you said and it is quick and easy. People do need to be careful of what is said because you never know who is going to see it. People use also use it for trash talking which is very unsportsman like and it almost always get s back to the other team. If used in the right way though I believe that it can be used as a great tool.

I believe that Microblogging is one of the best things that has happened online in the last decade. With one click of a button, information can be sent out to millions of people around the world. If there is ever breaking news in this country, tweets are sent out every minute feeling in everyone of what is happening. I believe microblogging has created a world where information is easily accessible and will be helpful with everyone. Although it is beneficial, like you said, there are the negative sides that come with it too. I feel like if you are going to look into microblogging yourself, you must know what comes with the territory.

hello Nicole this is Gaston,
I love how microblogging give fans the opportunity to be informed almost instantly. As a sports fans you can check many results and stats that 10 or 15 years ago were unknown. I like to follow Leonel Messi and before the golden ball ceremony he shared online his red tux. Also as a music fanatic I can follow my favorite artists and follow their comments. you feel like you are part of their circle of friends. These are some of the small examples that for many people are great part of their daily life thanks to technology.
