Personal Philosophy
I personally believe that family should always come first, no matter what. Family will always be there for you and make you stronger. Friends and school/work should be the next thing that someone should focus on. After those three than you should spend time on yourself, do what makes you happy; whether that's reading a book or playing sports. I believe that if you cannot be happy on your own, you can't make others happy. Take care of yourself, and it will help take care of everything else in your life.
Professional philosophy
In the work world, as an athletic trainer, the athlete's always come first. I am there for them, whether they need help physically, emotionally, or both. The athlete is the most important but not the only person that needs to be taken care of. The parents, coaches, and administrator's also need to be informed. Taking care of people is the main priority, this should be done with professionalism, genuine care, and trust. I would like to be able to help the community by sharing my knowledge, help the athletic community by decreasing injuries, and just be an overall source of medical knowledge for anyone that needs it.
